The concept for Pause is
simple: provide unique quality products for discerning dog
lovers and the dogs who love them, in a friendly, welcoming
and fun atmosphere.
COME: We've got the biggest selection of dog collars in the
Hudson Valley; the best toys, beds and apparel on the market;
organic treats and chews; a select line of quality dog and cat
foods; all natural health and wellness products; unique gift
items; fun accessories; eco-friendly products - and more!
STAY: We're community minded. One of our favorite things to do
is to bring people together – with and without their dogs.
Throughout the year we plan a host of educational and social
events that all are welcome to attend.
SHOP: Most of our products give back in some way, because we
like to work with companies who create items that are
eco-friendly, support not-for-profits and that are made in the
U.S.A. We also like to think that we're friendly and helpful
and pride ourselves on getting you exactly what you need.

- Animal Communicator on Saturday, February 11, 2012
from 11am-4pm
With her unique gift, Karen has helped people gain
insight into their pet’s behavior, give closure to
someone grieving the loss of their pet, or just become
better acquainted with their animal companions. Karen
has helped people understand that animals have feelings
and concerns, many they wish they could share with their
owners. Karen will be offering 20-minute sessions for
$30. One dog per session please. Call or

1st Annual Go
Dog Go! Show on Sunday, February 12, 2012 from 12-5pm at
Enigma in Red Hook, NY
Go Dog Go! We, at Pause Dog Boutique, are avid
supporters of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show,
which happens annually in New York City during the month
of February. But, we also firmly believe that every dog
should have its day, regardless of pedigree. So…we’ve
decided to have our own show to celebrate our best
friends! Event will benefit local animal rescue and
advocacy efforts. Click

Trip
to the 136th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show on
Tuesday, February 14, 2012
Join us for a jaunt into New York City to see all of the
sporting, working and terrier breeds and varieties
throughout the day - and to visit the benching
(backstage) area to meet the dogs in person. (Don't
worry, we'll head home in time for you to catch Best in
Show live on TV!) Visit www.ticketmaster.com to purchase
your ticket(s). Choose Tuesday at 8am (general
admission) - cost is $59.50 (with taxes and processing
charges). We'll be catching the 6:40am train at
Poughkeepsie train station, putting us in the city at
8:10am (we suggest arriving early to make sure you get a
place to park). Let us know if you are planning on
attending, or just meet us on the train platform.
