The concept for Pause is
simple: provide unique quality products for discerning dog
lovers and the dogs who love them, in a friendly, welcoming
and fun atmosphere.
COME: We've got the biggest selection of dog collars in the
Hudson Valley; the best toys, beds and apparel on the market;
organic treats and chews; a select line of quality dog and cat
foods; all natural health and wellness products; unique gift
items; fun accessories; eco-friendly products - and more!
STAY: We're community minded. One of our favorite things to do
is to bring people together – with and without their dogs.
Throughout the year we plan a host of educational and social
events that all are welcome to attend.
SHOP: Most of our products give back in some way, because we
like to work with companies who create items that are
eco-friendly, support not-for-profits and that are made in the
U.S.A. We also like to think that we're friendly and helpful
and pride ourselves on getting you exactly what you need.

Join our Dog Scout Troop!
Did you know there is a Dog Scouts of America
organization, similar in concept to Girl Scouts and Boy
Scouts? Well...we're starting a troop in our area! Based
out of Pause Dog Boutique, Mark Condon and I will serve
as troop leaders. We are currently applying to become
official and already have a small group of registered
members. If you are interested in becoming a part of our
troop (you can earn patches!), please head to
www.dogscouts.org to become a member. Please also email

contact list and keep you updated about our first
meeting and upcoming events. We hope to gather for fun
educational and social events beginning this summer.

The Mutt Scouts
Bring Adoptable Dogs to Pause
4th Saturday of Every Month from 12:30-4pm
On the fourth Saturday of every month, from 12:30-4pm,
the Mutt Scouts, a rescue organization that just created
a branch right here in the Hudson Valley, will have
adoptable dogs on site. Come check them out if rescuing
is the right decision for you and your family.

Custom Portraits by Animal
Artist Ursula Zorika
All Month During June
For the month of June, Animal Artist Ursula Zorika will
be offering commission portraits at the Pause Dog
Boutique in Rhinebeck at reduced rates, with 25% of
price being donated to the Russell Refuge in Rhinebeck,
N.Y. Work may be viewed at the boutique for the month
and some pieces are also on the ursulazorika.com
website.
Ursula began her art career as a 15-year-old painting
rodeo scenes in store windows each year during Stampede
week in Ponoka, Alberta, Canada. Since that time, she
has worked in various mediums. Her work has been
exhibited at the Art Society of Kingston, Woodstock
School of Art, and other venues. |
